C2C 9-27

The C2C reading for September 27 speaks about wanting Instant  wisdom, so that we can know everything that will happen in our lives, and plan for it.

 I know that prior to Al-Anon, I truly believed that this was possible. I  planned  my life accordingly , and did not see how irrational and unreasonable I was.

Al-Anon reinforces the fact that we must stay in the day, keep the focus on the day because  we don't know what tomorrow will bring.  We can learn to trust that HP will lead us through each day so that we will be prepared for the future when it arrives and able to handle  whatever  life offers. .

 By remembering to stay in the day, "Let the mud settle", placing principles above personalities and using Al-Anon tools, we  are going to be able to enjoy many gifts that life and each day  has to offer without worrying about the future.

Today's reminder tells us that we will receive all the information that we need when the time is right.
 So that Just for Today:"We should try to live through this day only and not tackle all of our problems at once."

I am so grateful that Al-Anon  provided  the tools and the support that I needed, in order to go of many of my building blocks that were based on faulty design. Thinking that I could plan my life , make sure that everything was taken care of and be happy, without any negative influence was how I operated for a very long time.  When my negative situation arose, I blamed myself as  I Felt I Had Not Planned According05.

Thanks to alanon I am satisfied with being able to face the unknown with courage, serenity and wisdom because  I trust that no matter what life throws at me  ( and it has thrown many curves balls) I can handle it

Perfect Sunday reading today Betty! Such a good exercise,
to live in the day/moment and when in a turmoil, "wait for
the mud to settle", then act accordingly. {{HUGS}}

Well - I had a wild and fun Sunday so am in catch up mode.

I often feel as if Betty and I could be sisters from different misters. Our pre-program patterns and thinking are very, very aligned.

I too worked hard, tirelessly hard to plan everything before program. I had this twisted sense that if I worked harder, smarter, etc. I could 'control' outcomes.

Goodnight - what a waste of time/energy/mind.....I am so grateful that all I truly need to do is stay in the moment and trust HP while doing the next right thing! Gave me so much time and energy back that I spent yesterday playing in a softball tourney - 5 games in 6 hours - took first place! I then came home as I couldn't find my AH and wondered if he was hurt/dead/??? - he was working outside all day without his phone!!!

I grabbed a sandwich and then did what? Went out and played 2 more games! I am sore, tired and feeling a bit old today, but what a gift. I did what I wanted to do all day long and beyond wondering what was up with my AH, I had a blast!!!

My time today is catching up around here (home & MIP) and then a 'long nap'....I am no spring chicken and while yesterday was a blast, I am a tired, tired gal today!

Hugs to both - grateful to be on this journey with you!
