Even in this darkness I am able to see God's mighty power at work.Finals are over and I have a long fall break before I go back to class.I have been concerned about having so much time on my hands after the funeral,I wasn't quite sure how I would cope.Well, yesterday a friend of mine called and said a tiny kitten almost got hit by a car near where she lives, she lives in an apartment so she couldn't keep him.My daughter went to get him and he is the skinniest little kitten I have ever seen, you could feel his bones.I have two other cats and they are fat,and happy, and spoiled. This cat wobbled up to a dish of food and ate a little. He came up on my lap and stared into my eyes for the longest time. His eyes were weary and tired, and I could tell he was a fighter,he crawled up onto my chest and curled up and fell asleep while I watched a movie.I felt a warmth in my soul and I knew there was a reason for him showing up here.
That is a spiritual connection Mary...we are not all physical beings...for me mostly we are spiritual beings and connect more on that level than others. He knew the spirit he was with...he could tell and you could tell. HP does it this way. ((((hugs))))
aww We have 3 cats and my cat Felix is so intuitive and so devoted to me. right now, he is my best friend for he gives me endless comfort and solace, listens without judgement.ive had him 7 yrs. if im away from the house he paces and worries til im back or so im told lol
Lovely share Mary - thanks so much for it! I have often said that my dog, Layla who was a rescue acts spiritual and super-loving.
She's so grateful for each day she has and we sure love her tons. I have always found great peace and joy in animals. Watching, enjoying, and just in awe of them....
I agree that that baby is probably very grateful where he landed!
(((Hugs)))
