Hi again everyone, I just realized today's August 12 and not August 13. As a result of that mistake I posted an incorrect Courage to Change reading today. I am sorry for the confusion and here is a brief explanation of today's reading
The C2C reading for August 12 speaks about the third step and actually turning our will and life over to HP. It points out that we're not rocket scientists or philosophers or wizard's and cannot know the future. Since we do have limitations it is easy to then turn our will and life over to a HP who to me is : perfect love, perfect, wisdom, perfect, compassion.
The quote is from Plato "time will change and even reverse many of your present opinions. Refrain, therefore, a while from setting yourself up as a judge of the highest matters."
One day at a time,it gets easier and easier to let go of my will and trust HP
Love Step 3 and what a deep gift it gives me/us. To realize and accept that I had no power over others, places, things, future, etc. - made it so much easier to focus on me.
The 3rd Step gives me the opportunity to rely on a HP and give it over any time I try to control or take it back.
Thanks Betty for the fix and for the ESH!

I love today's reading (and will probably love tomorrow's too ;) It seems ridiculous to me now but the idea that I don't have to have a view on everything, and to be right in that view, is a revelation to me. It's also very releasing and relaxing. Reading that made me feel like I was sinking into a warm bath. What? I don't have to know everything and strive to be right about it all? I can just listen to other people's issues (and even my own) and nod and smile and know that they will resolve themselves in their own sweet way in the care of HP? I like that.
