So I'm a bit of a wild spirit sometimes free sometimes wild sometimes both .. I did have a lovely young man tell me I was someone who was unforgettable and that got proven the other night .. LOL!

I took off to St Louis the other night it was a cheap flight, I was meeting a girlfriend of mine who flew in on business from TX. 

Anyway, there was a crazy situation at the ticket counter and I have little patience at the moment .. I live in po'dunk big time and trust me I can tell you that not hundreds of people on a daily basis are flying out of here.  After the ticket counter woman fully pushed a few buttons on me I laughed to myself because she realized quickly she was way out of her league .. I am never rude . however I'm very clear and usually people get it pretty quick I'm not stupid. 

You would have thought I took the last seat in a full flight.

Nope .. I had a private chartered plane for my leisure .. LOL .. 840PM and enjoyed it fully.  The pilots for this airlines are a hoot and a half.  I do not think I have ever met a rude one and they are very funny.  I'm sure they see hundreds of people over a month .. not in a day. Oh they are full of themselves I swear .. first teased we were going to New York hope I enjoyed the flight then the other one decided on Costa Rica and I said how about we compromise on MO.  LOL.  I got my way .. nothing new I'm sure. 

So moving on I had to book a shuttle and everything was fine.  However getting there was another story .. I realize that I'm booked with a convention of people who know each other through work.  After observing and listening for a bit finally get the nerve to ask so you all know each other.  Very nice young man says oh .. I thought you were one of us?! (apparently I found my people because of my red scarf .. LOL).  I laughed and said no I'm apparently along for the ride and tonight's entertainment since I have no idea what you all are going on about.  I listened some more and I'm sorry nothing gets my attention like hearing statements about naked people .. I lean in again and say .. umm .. exactly WHAT kind of convention is this?  Everyone starts howling and says umm .. oppps .. not THAT kind of convention!!!  So I got more information and it turns out they clean gutters and windows from the sounds of it about anything .. however they run into very interesting situations doing this job and I can only imagine .. LOL.  Well had to laugh because I hear them talking about SouthWest and after my last experience with D and getting seats changed I shared that story and we laughed some more I told them I can only guarantee results with children not necessarily with adults .. lol.  We finally get to their destination (yes do note I'm not to mine yet .. LOL) and everyone files out. 

I get to my destination and my girlfriend can't figure out where I'm at and so on .. finally sit down and we visit for a long time.  It was fun.  I forget not having kids around as much as I miss them I won't lie this has been a short term treat for me.  I'm getting ready to gear up for a very busy 12 months is putting it mildly. 

It was an overnight deal so I headed out before my girlfriend and caught another shuttle for my flight lovely lady who drove it listened to some bits and pieces of her life.  She lost a 17 year old son .. she didn't say how and I didn't press .. broke my heart for her though to loose a child in any way before their time. 

As we boarded a girlfriend of mine called and blurts out where are you?!  I'm laughing telling her you won't believe me .. I'll catch up with you when I am back in town. 

I get on the plane and was so surprised by a pilot who was there because the same Captain who flew the flight with my kids and I down.  This is the guy where I'm on my phone and he's telling me umm .. are you hanging up before we take off because I'm trying to see if this lady will catch her flight .. LOL!  So he turns around and I laugh saying OMGOSH you are so lucky I'm back.  His eyes lit up and he says OMGOSH ... I have to know did that lady catch her flight?!  I laughed and I was stunned .. I couldn't believe he remembered the whole story, the kids and me.  We laughed and I said we made it however it was tight.  I explained old Samsonite luggage is great when someone else has to carry it!  He just shocked me with him even remembering the situation .. it has been weeks now.  It would be fun if he was flying the kids and I back from St Louis.  I would enjoy that flight a great deal. 

It was fun and just what I needed!!
