The material presented
here is not Al-Anon Conference Approved Literature. It is a method
to exchange
information, ideas, feelings, problems and solutions on a personal
level.
The ODA T reading for July 19 speaks about Al-Anon membership. It emphasizes the fact that alanon is a world wide fellowship of people who are working for the same purpose; to build better lives for ourselves and those around us. We do this by positive readings, meditation and prayer and supporting each other.
The reading points out that what we give out also comes back to us because we grow by sharing and connecting.
The quote states:"This is truly a movement of the spirit, I firmly believe that the unity of the world, and understanding and peace could come from these efforts."
I love the fact that Al-Anon is a worldwide program and that no matter where I go, I will be able to find meetings and connect with like-minded folk. I love posting on MIP because we too have members from all over the world from as far as way as Australia, Nova Scotia New Zealand, England, Ireland, Africa, Hawaii and all of the other states .
What a miraculous connection this program truly is . I am privileged to be part of it.
