C2C reading for 6-7 continues the discussion on the Steps. Today the meditation reviews Step 5: "Admitted to God to myself and another human being the exact nature of our wrongs "
The reading explains that the answers for our lives lives within us. That many times the truth surfaces within our hearts and minds and we do our best to ignore it because we are not ready to see the truth or act in a different manner.
We must look within , own what we find to HP first, then ourselves and then to make the process complete another person. The reading points out that this process helps us to take action on the answers we receive and to move forward with our lives.
the quote is an important one Hui-Neng :"Look within-the secret is inside you"
I do love this step and this reading. It was with working this step that I was finally given the courage to be honest with myself , own my own destructive thoughts, motives and behavior, deep within, and then let it surface without denying it.
The reading states that the first word; admit helps us to see that HP has been prompting us to look within for a long time and we have disregarded the inner message and looked outside for answers to our lives. The reading suggests that we know that this message is from HP, because if we had created the thought, we would not be trying to deny it and not take action. Powerful insight . When it finally did let all the nagging awareness surface into my consciousness, accept them and then share that with my sponsor. I found a grand great relief.
Thanks Betty again for the daily! I am liking that it continued with Step 5 today! I've learned in this program that when we share our secrets, feelings, anxiety, defects, etc. it seems there is an immediate sense of relief....almost as if once shared, it is cut in half, quarters, etc.
It takes humility and grace to walk through this step and HP's nudge for willingness.
I love the quote - so simple and so true.
Make it a great day!

This one was a tough one for me, but am grateful for the results. It allowed for forgiveness and understanding which ultimately lead to honesty and growth. I was able grow as a person after coming to terms with my defects.
