overwhelmed

Lately I am feeling very overwhelmed.I just bought a new place and I am am in the middle of a total remodel,it is very stressful.I also have a lot of schoolwork to do, and I have come down with a very bad cold.I am pretty frustrated and tired right now.Right when I need to be at my best,I feel awful.I am pretty angry that I got this cold right now.I know I can't control when I get sick.I feel like I could just cry,and run away to the beach and lay in the sand.I have a summer break coming, but I am going to be moving so it won't really be a break for me .I am afraid I am going to crash and burn after the move.I feel like I need a period of calm in my life,I guess I am frustrated that after all that I have been through ,I just really need a break!

It sounds like a lot to have going on. I would feel stressed and overwhelmed as well. Sounds like you need a little support? I find when I am like that I am not allowing myself a break. I have let go a bit now and think "it will be there tomorrow." I would love to make you some chicken noodle soup and let you kick back and watch a movie lol

Mary -

So sorry that you're overloaded and then sick on top of that - bummer!

I know when I am sick everything tends to feel magnified in my life....my chores, commitments, projects, etc.

Perhaps you need to breathe and then relax for a bit to recover. My hope is once you feel better physically, you will see that it's all OK and will be OK.

Take it easy and take care of you. HP will help with the rest!

Feel better and (((hugs)))...
