Tues 2/28 - woke with stress headache

Husband home again today - 3rd work day in a row. Today's the 1st day he's not hungover. Is he too lazy to get to work or really feeling bad?

Brother released from Bridgewater today, heading back to court - not sure if he'll end up in rehab or another jail or Salvation Army or back home. If he goes back home I'll worry about my mothers physical safety. Brother is still in pissed off mode.

Had an argument with boss end of day yesterday. So now Im on eggshells going in today. I have a hard time being the exception to the rule. If something is ok for others I expect the same consideration. Maybe I shouldnt.

Ok time to let them work themselves out. No use worrying over them. Im going to go Walk Away The Pounds and maybe my headache will go away.

Have a good day everyone {{hugs}} Barb

Hi Barb

(((Barb)))

I am sorry that you have a stress headache, thats awful.

Your brother situation, I am sorry that he is pissed and not rehabbed. I will pray for the best outcome on that.

I found at work to keep my side of the street clean works best. Life is not fair and work is highly unfair. We have one co-worker who is consistently out "sick" We used to have a pool and bet on what days he would be out and then take the winner to lunch. Sick stuff. When we stopped the pool and concentrated on our work, tensions eased. We now just ignore the fact that he is almost never working. Changing what we can, letting go of what we cannot.

In support

Hi Barb,

So sorry you woke up with a headache. How weird, cause I had to get up at 3:30 and take some ibprofen cause I had one too. Maybe mine was a sympathy headache....

It is to bad that your brothers attitude sucks, the recovery generally doesn't start until the attitude is right. Sorry you have to be in the middle of it, but bless you for looking out for your Mom.

I know how it is with unfair treatment at work. I usually just try to do my job to the best of my ability and as long as I get paid fairly I try not to worry about how anyone else is doing. Works easier that way.
