To all of you who are in the path of the Noreaster/Blizzard please be safe. Hunker down with a good book, lots of blankets, good food and warm beverages. Let us know how you make out, we'll be thinking of you. Please don't travel if you don't have to. Wouldn't want anything to happen to any of you. Make sure you have plenty of provisions and flashlights are in working in order, in case you need them. Keep the pets close and snuggle down.
If you have to go out and shovel, take it easy. Stay warm: remember thin, light layers, no cotton (traps the sweat and makes you cold) and take your time. Rome wasn't built in a day. The snow will be here tomorrow too.
Sending warm love and blessings to all. Stay safe. Thinking of all of you.
Live strong, Karilynn
P.S. When this is all over, go out there and have a snowball fight and build lots of snowpeople!

It's your life. Take no prisoners. You will have it your way.
I just came back from my biweekly grocery shopping. (Stores werent as bad as I thought they may be). Went to Curves and my f2f meeting this morn. In an hr Im off to Church. Tomorrow will be a good day to take it easy - well except for shoveling! Im glad this storm is on a weekend.
Son and I have rented movies and just made brownies, also have hot cocoa on standby. As a teen he still gets excited over the snow (me too-shhh). I believe this one is such a big deal because unlike recent yrs this it's snowed so little and has not felt like winter. I hope we get enough so no one is disappointed ~that snow angels and snowmen (snowpeople)will be made And that everyone is safe n sound.
*Also once it gets all yucky that it may be 50 degress again in a few days
