We eventually realize that just as the pains of alcoholism had to come before sobriety, emotional turmoil comes before serenity. *


I ws reading some posts on the AA board, trying to get some insight into this cunning, insidious and baffling disease and came across this quote.


Don't know why but this kind of hit home with me and where I am today.


Just thought I would share it, I thing it applies to the Alanoner as well as the alcoholic, just trying to figure out how it all works.
