I'm a little bummed today. At my F2F this afternoon one of the Alanoners invited us all to their place to watch a tape of someone in our group on TV. (can't say who what when or channel of course, LOL )
I just couldn't go. It would have been a blast!
But hey, I have to be grateful that I found such a great f2f group.

I will take the pressure off of you. You can break my anonymity this one time. Yes, I am Judge Judy and you were all going to watch my court show. I will send you all the tapes I have from all my court shows and talk shows I have done. I will personally visit all of you when I am in your town too. :) LOLOLOL your pal, cdb xoxoxoxoxo PS, humor is healing to the soul!
It really is a wonderful thing when we connect with people so closely! I know I find myself depending emotionally on my Alanuts cause they fill that void that is missing at home for me. When I can't go out and enjoy the fellowship of these wonderful people it leaves me feeling empty at times. What I know is that it is the emotional connection that is weak when I feel that way, so I need to work on that part of my relationship with myself and not rely on others to always fill that void. That is very tough for me because I love people and I love to talk and I love to give hugs!! I need to turn some of that love inward and take care of myself more. This is what your post made me think about as I read it - so thanks for that little reminder...to start with me and not hold grudges of others who aren't giving me what I think I need and deserve.
