What a great day!

Wow!  Today was great!  The hubby is moving out.  He has been packing all day.  I have been doing a lot of thumb twittling and not sure what to do.  I offered to lend a hand....not to get him out faster, but just to help.  He didn't want any.  That is fine.  He should be gone tomorrow.

I did get other business taken care of that I had been putting off today as well.  The kids were in good shape and being kids.  I made it to a f2f book study tonight.  It just happened I was already reading the same pages and I was a little stuck on a few.  It came through tonight with great clarity.

I went to the park where I live, after.  I was starting to drive home and there were two huges deers standing in the middle of the road (in the middle of the city).  I grew up where deer being around was like a house cat.  You seem them and just try not to hit them.  These two were neat.  There didn't care that I was there at all.

I turned the car around and parked about ten feet from them.  I had vanilla wafers, so I threw some out the window and they ate them and kept coming back for more.  It was really impressive, to be so close and trusted at the same time.  Some how, they just didn't seem like the same ol' deer I used to always pass and take for granted.

It got me to thinking of other things I take for granted.  The kids and how innocent they are.  Nature and how innocent it is.  That life really isn't this big evil world........it is wonderful and I am so trained to look for the negative.  Things happen for a reason, so I may learn from them.   Corny but true.  It was really uplifting.

So, I will end TODAY with thanking my HP for what I have learned today.  When I wake up, I will start with a "please" for what to remind of what I learned yesterday.

Yes, coffee and lack of sleep can make you talk funny too!

Way to go (((((Ziggy))))), I love to hear about the good in other's lives too.  I have a favorite saying that I am not sure where it came from:

"Attitude is the mind's paintbrush.  It colors every situation."

What a great share!  It's so easy to forget all the goodness in life if we don't focus on it.

Thanks!!!

I need to remember the little things.  That there is hope and not just hopelessness.  That there are wonders in this world.  That not everyone and everything has been tainted by this vicious disease.

Thanks for the share.

Lynn
