so why am I second guessing

Good Morning!

So I have an opportunity to have this new job.  My job satisfaction has been low since last September.  This job is for a company that does erosion control, the pay is the same but after 90 days there is pay review and full family benefits, so why am I having problems sealing the deal.  Is it just change?  Me out of my comfort zone.  It will combine office work and sales.  I have close to 10 years of sales.  This is the security that I have been working the last two years to achieve.  Any ideas would greatly help.

Hugs Mary

I dunno, could be a couple of things.

Could be you - fear of change, fear of having work get better so you can't blame problems on it anymore, and have to really face whatever your demons are, maybe not feeling that you deserve to have something good happen to you....

OR, maybe isn't you at all - maybe there is something a little "off" about the situation, and your spidey senses are tingling. I find that we alanons have spent so much time with insanity that we learn not to trust our instincts. However, we do have them, and they can often be very useful.

Some ideas for you to explore, anyway.

I am wanting to make a job change myself and I find myself so afraid of failing that it is keeping me from changing my job, the job I have now I know I can do and do well, but a new job.....

I am dealing with these issues myself and trying to figure out why I can not believe in myself enough to try.

I think it is the security factor here Mary.  We want to attain it and then when it is within grasp we question it.  What does your gut instinct tell you about the people you are going to be working with?  Ask Hp for a bit of guidance on this.  Luv Leo x
