This is not from Alanon literature and therefore left me picking my chin up off the floor. Thought I would share it with you all. It's real Step One stuff!!!!

My Love must be brought against every jarring circumstance, every uncertainty, to inject peace.

You have found that your peace must never depend on variable fortunes; use of My love in giving entrance to peace must become perfect. Before the cutting edge of circumstances can colour your mood, let My love exert it's neutralising activity; before someone's troublesome ways or seeming character faults simmer harmfully inside you, invite My love.

My love literally robs life's demands and trials of their power to upset your balance. Let those fret bringing circumstances be swallowed up in the thought of My love.... never waiting for circumstances to be changed, either spontaneously, or by your efforts. Hold to the thought of My love until you know that whatever may have troubled you now has given way to peace.

If only you had known that upon which your peace depends.
