is there a prob with mirc and java at the mo for this alanon chat room?

Hi Iona... no, you should be able to enter the room using either method, through the web site or through mirc...


if you are using the website, you might need to update your java software, if so, you can do so for free at http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp


After doing this, restart your computer and then try to re enter the room. This should solve whatever problem you are having.  Unless its not your problem but the server is down for a few minutes to be reset.  Go ahead and do a update on your java just in case that is where the problem lays.
