I`m so mad

My A got pulled over 2 nights ago for failure to yield...He`s on probation for domestic,he has no insurance,he was drunk, and had open intoxicants in his truck. Guess what????They let him go!!! If it was me I`d be sent to prison for 20 years!!

Sorry just had to vent, thanks for listening

Allison

Allison,

Good boundary. Sometimes I think that the A's need somebody to set strong boundaries because they are so incapable of doing it themselves. Hope everything works out for you.

In support,

Nancy

I always thought my A would get a DUI but last year when someone rearended him, the police smelled the alcohol on my A, asked him if he'd been drinking, he has an unopened 18 pack in the bed of his truck.  He said yeah.....then while the police were running his license he called me....I said "they are going to make you blow"  I work at a treatment agency and this is usually the natural order of things....well he called back 20 minutes later and guess what, the cop had his wife as a ride-along and she knew my husband from high school.........ARRRGGHHH I was so mad.  I couldn't figure out, all the nights he stumbled up the stairs, all the fights we had, me going to jail for DV when I threw the phone at him, but now I see my HP had bigger plans.  My A has 25 days clean and sober today.  I have learned one day at a time.  I try hard not to fear what tomorrow will bring.  Hang in there, working the program for yourself will give you the strength you may need down the road.

Why does it appear they always get away with things?  That too I do not understand.  I try to remind myself--there is a higher purpose and my HP knows what he is doing, but I still don't understand.  I know I don't have to understand, but I would really like to!!!!!!!!!

Hang in there!

Dawn
