Hey there, ya'll.

Got this in an email tonight and it really gave me something to think about.  It reminded me to quit dwelling on the A being in jail, to quit dwelling on the fact that he wrecked my car and as of Monday I will have no vehicle (insurance company totaled it and are coming to pick it up ), that I cannot control him...his actions....or his comments/thoughts.......but I can control mine.  I am trying to let go of the resentments and the hurt and the anger, just don't seem to be making much progress.  So I am going to try and keep this article in mind tomorrow and attempt to make my day a positive one of my choosing, not to let others make my day a bad one.

Just some food for thought.

Create This Day


What kind of day will this day be? It will be whatever you create it to be. For when this day is over, what will matter most is not the assortment of events and conditions it brought to you. What will truly matter is what you have done with it all.

As you go through this day, you cannot control the thoughts, words and actions of others. Yet you can adjust your own attitude, responses and actions to create a perfectly wonderful, effective and fulfilling day out of whatever the world hands you.

Just as surely as you can create a thought in your mind, you can create this day in the way you choose. So choose right now, and in every moment, to create the best day yet.
