my cat is out - testing faith

My cats stay indoors.  Lastnight I left the door open, where I sleep with my 3 ever loving cats.  At 4 am, my mom opened the door for the dogs like she always does.  The one lil skinny cat, the grey ghost - Jade is an escape artist...  why Hikari bolted, I dunno.  The cool air drew him out I guess (he hates the heat) & it went down in the 50's lastnight.

I put a huge sign in the front yard, double sided.  He is my favorite cat - they are all my fav's in different ways.  I hope he's just wandering around & expect him to walk in the door at any time now, today or tomorrow.  I know how cats are...  I found him & he was skin & bones, a mere 9 pounds, now he's about 25#.  He eats every hour whether he's hungry or not.

I have done all I can do, walked around calling him, drove around calling him, talked to nieghbors & both postmen.      http://star_of_asia.tripod.com/

You can see him there if you like, he is just beautiful.  I have been praying all morning.  My mom finally went to her doctor's appt so I could just cry & let it out.

I massaged her hands, arms, feet, legs knees, told her 5 times I don't blame her but I can tell she blames herself.

I love him so much, he never hurt me, I love him he's my baby.  My orange cat (Juliette the bunny) is in love with him.  Between all the food, cat nip & love...  he's bound to come home.

I prayed that I will never think another mean thing about my step-dad the "A" ever again whether Hikari comes home or not.  I love so much, I love him enough to let him go if that is HP's wish.  I'm just a sad little pathetic human, abused, wounded - already felt like I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown.  So ok, here it comes - am I up 58 yet - 34? what's the difference I never counted I have had so many.

I keep thinking I see him everywhere...  so the dad I thought I knew & loved was never what he presented himself to be, but this cat is SO friendly, he would run up to me just like a dog, he is THE BEST & FRIENDLIEST CAT I EVER HAD THE PLEASURE OF LOVING.

He is terrified of dogs though.

So I figure God is testing my faith...  to not worry, to have faith in the magical power of animals, to give him to God & allow HP to bring him home or not.  Either way, I will love Hikari Kumo (enlightened brilliant cloud <in Japanese>) and I will Let the A Go, stop thinking of him, good or bad...  FOCUS ON YOURSELF "K" - FOCUS ON KAT...  I WANT TO CHANGE MY NAME ANYWAY...  KATARINA...  KITTY....

Thank You Father for freeing me to Love and "real" Faith.

I am the only one I can depend on or believe or know genuinely, deeply to my core and I do know I can love in the most spiritual sense of the word.

O, Creator...  pray yourself in me as I pray to You that I might be worthy of fulfilling that tiny bit of Your Divine Plan, whatever it is that You wish of me, I will & can endure.  You are Holy & Pure & Your word is Truth, You are the God who creates Miracles.  Amen.

Love & Blessing to All, as I continue to Pray for our suffering Mother Earth, I pray for us all.

RETARDED

I am sure there are those of you that find this absurd but unlike the love of a human being...  the love with an animal is PURE.

My cat never hurt my feelings & always loved me genuinely.  He is an Angel that helped to save me & bring me back to the living.

Is it better to have loved & lost, YES, because it doesn't matter what I get in return for my love, the action, the VERB of MY own love, is MINE.  Be it my ex addicted psychopathic husband or anyone, no one can destroy the pure love THAT I HAVE for another.

I understand how you must feel. I will share a story of hope with you.

My best friend adopted a cat a few years ago, he is a house cat. She then moved into a house in another state. Well her cat got out- I don't recall how, only her hysterically calling telling me she had her family, neighbors and friends out in force looking for him. It went on for several days. As it turned out the kitty was curled up and on guard underneath her porch- she thinks he was there the whole time. Must've been scared to be in the outside world and did not go far. I am hoping the same for yours and will soon be back home :)

Wishes, tea

Kitty,

The photos are beautiful. You are not pathetic for loving an animal. My kitty is everything to me. With her "Dad" not living here, it can get very lonely. She's my joy. She has helped me through many a lonely night, sad day or anxious times. She was a rescue. At the rescue haven was a farm. I tried taking her out on a leash, and she just wasn't happy. So the first time I let her out, I was really scared. But it's the Let Go, Let God issue. My issue is that everyone I love ends up leaving me one way or another. It was hard. But she came back. The first time I let her out for the day while I was at work was terrifying. But there she was waiting on the patio for me when I got home.

Don't ever think that the love you have for an animal is stupid, pathetic or anything else. It's wonderful. I will say extra prayers for his safe return. My kitty will do the same. Be brave. He might just be having an adventure.

Live strong,
Karilynn

Hi Kitty,

Hikari is beautiful.  I was especially drawn to him as I have always had black and white cats.  Does he have a bit of siamese mix in him?  The ones I have had usually have such a great personality.  Do you think he could be sowing his wild oats at the moment?  I will pray for him to come back to you.  Luv Leo x

shhhhhh, not to loud.  One of Kitty's other Kitty's is in love with him.  Kitty will never get any sleep if his home love interest finds out.

I'll keep Hikari in prayer.  You know, when I was a little girl, we had a cat come back after 3 MONTHS.  Hang in there...

hey, I'm miserably missing Hikari & Juliet is distressed & disturbed.

I spent the entire day looking for him, posting signs & talking to neighbors...  I walked around in the dark @ 11 pm & my mom sd she did the same in the middle of the night.

I canvassed the neighborhood for 2 hrs, talking to neighbors & handing out flyers.

Mom went to kinko's & made "quads" so I have mini flyers...  about to go do some more foot work.  All the joggers I saw this morning sd I was, "doing the right thing" & heard many stories of hope that after 3-4 weeks many animals have returned.

I still expect to just see him out there & see him running up to me, like a good lil doggie!

I will keep u posted & I appreciate all of your prayers

kitty,

My long time cat died in the spring. She was my rock that I depended on when all things go to hell. I swore that I would never get another one. Then 3 weeks ago a friend offered me a stray. Oh well, I know I am not as lonely when I have a cat. It has taken her a while to warm up to me and her new house. But she ran off yesterday and I said oh well I am not going to cry about it. My neighbors found her and tonight she is playing and being cute. I am not so lonely.

I haven't read them all but haven't seen a post that your kitty has come home.  All I can say is KEEP LOOKING and asking everyone you see.  I wrote about my kitty Cliff this week - my other cat Puck got lost a few months ago.  We put signs up everywhere and talked to all of the merchants within a few miles.

As every day went by it got harder and harder but we kept looking.  On the 10th day we found him.

During that time I heard stories of cats being gone for months and over a year!!!! and just showing up at the door one day.  Who knows how they do this but we know that our cats are amazing creatures.

I hope so much that you find Hikari and that he comes home safe to you.

All the best,

sally
