but not to al anon. I went to about 6 months worth of meetings oh, about 2 years ago. I don't do well talking in front of groups. but writing is a different story! a friend told me about this and well, here I am ;)
I am planning to attend (hopefully) some of the morning meetings during the week. that is the best time since I can concentrate. I telecommute most of the week and the drinker in my life (husband) is at work and my daughter is at school. I hope this works, we shall see. does anyone here attend those meetings?
I have been to the meetings here. I do not attend the morning meetings as I am at work during that time. But the evening meetings are great. I have gotten so much out of them.
The neat thing about going to meetings online. Is that you get to meet people from all over the world.
The people here are great, the recovery here is great, and this is a safe place.

I did the morning meeting this summer while my kids were at camp and my other son napped. they are great meeting with great people. Nap time has changed and I don't get to it very much now but I do miss them. I think you will like them.

thanks y'all. now that I found an online meeting place, my computer has ceased to function and will take a few weeks to repair? need to look into that a bit more. hope to cut down some of that time, yikes! luckily I have a work laptop but I can't use it for meetings. damn. so, maybe I can be on this board and keep learning what it is I'm supposed to learn. I haven't learned it yet apparently. thanks again.
