HP reminders

Wow what a reminder, you know when you just think its fate? Ya no! its your HP talking to you.  I have been struggling alot lately. pining for more of what I dont know.  My Ex who is my A, is very active and my current partner is in recovery with 16yrs this dec.  My kids are little and demand alot of attention.  I feel I get torn in so many directions.  Like a rubberband.  And then one day I just SNAP! anyway, I finally got to a F2F meeting lastnight and the topic was step 11 but also step 1 cause a new person had come through the door.  There was such great sharing.  I even shared and felt so much better.  I again admitted to god and others that my life is unmanageable and listened to how others pray and meditate.  I have never done that. (medatate) would like to figure it out. Anyways I think Im on a path, and when I work my OWN recovery it goes well.  So I will take charge of me and start to move forward.

My greatful list today is:

For this program and what it can do for me and my life

My Kids, all so young and beautiful, trusting only me to guide them right now

My home, I love where I live, Vancouver Island is a getaway for so many and I live here!

I have a great Job. I do what I have always loved to do. "travel industry"

Family Support, my parents are wonderful giving people, my mom helps me ALOT, I think I might even take her for granted.  Today I will tell her "Thank you"

My Health, I 36yrs young and have not health issues at all, for that Im greatful

For all of you that listen, encourage and give back hope.  Thank you for that again Iam very greatful.

Have a wonderful day people, my favorite slogan is "let go & let god"  I should start to practice what I preach.

Bye for now.

Thank you so much for sharing your gratitude list with me today.

I have kept a prayer journal for the last few years, and in days when things are bad, looking at some of my past prayers (all my prayers start with a THANKS GOD FOR...), it helps bring me out of a slump.

I find also that if I force myself to have a positive attitude, my outlook will slowly change to a more positive and managable one.

I love reading such positive posts...

PS.  My meditation place is in a quite bathtub (with the bathroom fan running so that I can't hear my kids squabbling) I just plant a peaceful thought, and let the rest take over.  The peaceful thought acts as a seed.  I am sure now that God takes over because I surrender my thoughts.  I usually come out of there so peaceful, refreshed, and smell nice too!

what a great idea, to surrender in the tub.  I will try that!

A prayer journal, I like that idea too.
