My husband was talking to his father a couple of hours ago. He sounded upset but he wouldn't stay on the phone with me. I hung up and called him 2 hours later and either he was sleeping or he is drunk. Now I have to decide what the next move will be. I can either stay at my parents house an not have all my meds, or go home an hope he is sleeping. So I am thinking that when I am waiting for my doctor I might call an see how he is then. I know there is nothing I can do. However, I don't like the fighting that goes along with his drinking.

Maybe you can explain your issue with the meds to the Doctor.
He could give you the ones that you are missing
When I was on medication my active alcoholic husband would destroy it.
I called the DR and the pharmacist and they were understanding to give me more medication. Most times I had to pay full price :( insurance would not cover it but I needed my meds.
Thankfully I have enough alanon not to have to do that anymore
Staying away from a drunk always worked best for me
