I am so confused. I talked with my therapist and my dad today. I have always depended on my dad to lead me in the right direction. They think that I should not file for a divorce, but a legal separation. My mother-in-law thinks I should give him one last chance. I feel so confused. My head and heart are telling me two different things.
Your decision is 100% up to you. What Dad or mother-in-law think should not be a consideration here. If you want a divorce from this man, move ahead with it. If you want a legal separation, go for it. If you want to stick with him, then do that. But, for heaven's sake make it your choice and not someone else's.
