(((((((((Lanchas)))))))))),

Congratulations! I wish you the very best.  You are a wonderful young woman and I know you will go far because you work at things.

As to suggestions, I never went to college so I really don't have any.  Just enjoy it.  I hope you will find some really nice friends to hang out with.

Keep me posted,

Maria123

Congratulations Lanchas

Will you live at school?

I lived at home while i did college and while it was a good experieence my friends who lived at the college got better life experience.

Enjoy the learning. I found the college teachers to open my mind so much better than the narrow scope of my small town high school.

What a great opportunity for growth..enjoy

Congrats to you!!  Living on campus...woohoo! (Wish I coulda done that) :)

Practical suggestions:

Anything the teacher writes on the board - copy it down!  Notes, diagrams, etc.

If your textbook has questions at the end of the chapter, go back thru the chapter and highlight the answers to those questions.  These are usually the main points (along with what the teacher put on blackboard) that you'll be tested on.

Most important: don't be afraid to raise your hand with questions.  I had this math class, the teacher would explain how to work the problem...seems like everyone else understood, meanwhile I am sitting there going "huh??" so I would ask him to explain it again.  He would explain it in a different way, and finally the lightbulb would go off in my head.

Enjoy your college days...learning is great!!

Luv, Kis
