New Babies update , 1 happy, 1 sad

Hi You guys

Well....last night was like a movie. Dan's family is very blessed, his new nephew Connor made a perfect healthy entrance into the world at 10 PM  ...his parents Jim & Michelle and the grandparents all thrilled and grateful

A few doors down the hall , the opposite scenario was sadly playing out ...Jim & Michelle's best friends gave birth to a baby girl with a severe breathing defect ....the sweet little soul was removed from life support last night and died in her grandmother's arms , just a few hours on earth.

So a young couple named David & Lisa are grieving the loss of thier 1st born baby daughter.

Prayers for them would be so appreciated.

*sighs*  I cannot help but wonder what God's plan is when a lil spirit comes to earth for just a few hours to touch and forever change the lives of a family. What a heartbreaking time for them all

Thanks for being there

Much love in Recovery

(((((((((((((((((((((David & LIsa)))))))))))))) I am deeply sorry for your loss, But even though things are sad this little angel touched your heart for her brief stay, God must have needed her angelic spirit to run and skip with all the children in heaven, and many grandparents who could not spend anymore days on earth so need young spirits to be with them and do all the wonderful things they would do here on earth. Her little spirit will be full of life there and when you see her again she will be enriched with beauty, for god as sad as things may seem has a plan for each of us no matter how long ot brief our stay.  Her spirit will carry on always within each of you, she is not gone far, for she is right beside you. God bless and may you cherish her and celebrate her birth together, and sending her to heaven maybe a little easier. I feel for your loss, love a mother herself cloud

Cloud, thank you for your beautiful words * hugs*

I heard this afternoon , that the young couple is going to "try again as soon as possible" they are only 32 or 33 ...both healthy ...so no one knows how this could have happened

we can wish them well as they bravely go on

Much love

Fiona

Hello Fiona,

I sure will pray for those families. I went to a funeral of our friend's baby years ago that died of sudden infant death syndrome (baby less than 6 months). I didn't even try to make any rhyme or reason out of why that happens. The pastor had such comforting words though. And yes, the little baby had touched many people's lives in such a short time on earth. I hope all is well with you too fiona. Hope to see you in chat soon. I am out of town for awhile with my mom and will look for you when I am able to be back in the chatroom. cdb

Fiona,

I can't help but think that God allows these things to happen, to teach all of us that life is so fragile, and that it can be taken away from us in the blink of an eye. Life should be treasured...not abused by self-destructive behavior, as sooo many of us has done. I will keep that family in my prayers though. I know that words cannot explain, or make things better for the family. I am soooo sorry for their loss, and I hope things go well with trying again. I know that they probably have alot of "fear" about bringing another life into the world.

Peace and Prayers,

Robert B.

Hi Fiona~ My prayers are with both families ;o) I relate a bit , as I lost a son 6hrs after delivering , ten years ago.  The good news though is this...Through a similar forum as this program ,except with the focus being for bereaved parents, I was able to grieve, share and connect with others who shared a similar loss. I have lots of info on such if you might be interested in passing it along. You can reach me at yukkahoy@yahoo.com. Take care~ Carla

I lost  2 babies within a month last year.  My great nephew at six months had an accident at home, lot of guilt on Dad's part, but they got through it with faith! They had a second boy this Spring, they went on with plans as scheduled for 2nd child this Spring.  All are doing well.  The second was my friend who left her first husband because he didn't want kids then became pregnant unexpectntly with her second, they were so delighted.  She had had defects and only made it 4 days, how heart wrenching.  Support, show love, but give room to grieve, is what both of them have said.  God works in mysterious ways.  My brother was born with spina bifida in a small rural hospital, the poor doctor had already delivered and lost one baby to that earlier in the day.  What r the chances in a hospital that delivered maybe 40 babies a month.  My family  got lucky, the other went home empty handed.  We are all her for a purpose and I believe some are taken for a purpose.  My nephew saved 9 lives i think through organ donation.
