Serenity Growing and Growing

Hi all, Well here I sit, or am squashed by two Basset hounds, an English Bulldog
and a huge orange cat. Trying to type with marshmallow all over my fingers...

I was looking around my living room, and feeling the wonderful calm atmosphere.
Does not mean the world is not putting obstacles in front of me. But becuz
of alanon, I don't fret anymore.

Have learned it really does work. Each day I do what I can. Obstacles come,
then answers do.

I have no desire to see my A. hahahaha that was a lie and my nose just poked out
further. I want to see my husband. But not the A.

Seriously I don't want to see him. I feel so much time and space between us.I mean
I would feel that if he was right here next to me. I am so far out of the pit of
alcoholism I am floating!!

Some of you know I am having a possible breast cancer scare. The biopsy is
June 28. I decided I just want to know if i have it. Nothing more. I am sure
I want to give it to hp, just like I am now.

I am so relieved. If I have it, I am going to go on just like I am now. No poisonous
chemo or radiation. No chemicals that will compromise my immune system.

I just want to work on health as always and live until I die, not be sick and miserable
and want to die until I die.

Giving it all to hp was such a relief. Making the decision made me feel free.

Anyway all the simplicity of this program, is so perfect. Keep it simple, one day at a
time, give it all to hp. Work the serenity prayer. Make a program fit to your needs
and live it, revel in it.

I love being as moral as possible. I struggle with things sometimes, but so far
good has won out. I am not much a part of the world being a JW. But that does not
mean I don't get tempted or make mistakes.

For me it just gets better and better. It is almost scarey sometimes. It is like
turning into a person you always hoped you could be, but was not sure how.

I sit here listening to Dollydoodle snore, and see the kittens asleep on the cloths I
need to fold. I got to see my daughter today and got feed and food and some flowers
It feels good to be ok.

Anyway as always, love is the answer. I learned that a long time ago, but alanon
showed me how to make it work.

love you guys, debilyn of Potter's Eden

Hello Debilyn,

I did share with you that I had a mastectomy. I also had a biopsy before the mastectomy, It was in 1996. Please, Please, do not make any choices about radiation or chemotherapy yet. You are looking ahead and not one day at a time. I am very familiar with biopsy pathology terminology. Please talk to me to hear my story before you make any decisions. Susan Love also has a great Breast Book with about everything in it you need to know. Susanne Summers had breast cancer and chose alternative treatments with diet and is still cancer free although she did have chemo or radiation first. Dr. Weil.com has excellent alterntive information on his website too. Naomi Judd talks about Dr. Weil too as she has Hept C and is in remission. She also has a book out about alternative treatments. I use to call cancer the Big C word until someone here told me the Big C word is Courage. That is a great way to think and to put things into perspective. There are so many things we know about cancer since your mom had it so try not to put yourself in the same category or option list as her please. HP may want you around for a long time. You do not know. All I know is I am going to pray my heart out for you whether you have it or not because I need you! I want you around for a very long time. I am not going to give up on you my friend! You are the first person here that helped me when I first came here and you will always have a special place in my heart. Prayers for you starting right now. Keep us posted and let me know if you do not have my email anymore. Love, cdb

Hi debylin,

I am sorry to read about your  cancer scare.

I don't blame you for being hesitant about chemo and radiation.  Cdb is righte, there have been a lot of stories about spontaneous remission.

One person I know who healed themselves through natural methods is Dr. Lorrainne Day MD.  Yes, she is a traditionally trained medical doctor.  She details EXACTLY how she healed herself through a series of video tapes and books.  It does not include any weird treatments, herbs, or substances, but is truly all natural.  She tells which foods etc. she used and her program is based on scientific studies and has been proven, in herself.  She healed herself from late stage breast cancer, her tumor was as big as an orange and had alredy spread to her lymph nodes.

Start working on your "getting well" program now, it will benefit you whether you have cancer or not.  The program is too involved to go over in an email, but I can tell you the basics to get you started while you order the videos )if you choose to).

1)  go to bed before ten and sleep a good 8 - 9 hours

2)  drink lots of water, at least 12 cups a day (filtered water or spring)

3)  drink lots and lots of carrot juice that you JUICE yourself, I think it was 1 cup every hour

4) eat a totally vegan diet

5)  get at least 2 hours of sunlight a day

6)  avoid watching news or negative TV shows, bad for the immune system

7)  get as mush fresh outside unpolluted air as you can

8)  develop a relationship with God and read scriptures daily

9)  avoid any negative emotions

that is all I remember...

I will keep you in my prayers and I hope this helps you, there is a LOT you can do now to get healtheir, you don't have to put your life on hold to wait for the biopsy.

Doncha just love it when you feel that way...like THIS is how it's supposed to be?  On occasion, I too feel that, where I walk in the house, and think "I designed this, and I love it", or I walk my weedy flower beds, and think I would'nt trade them for a manicured lawn in suburbia.

Wallow it it, girlfriend!!!  It has taken lots of work to get your head to that place, I'm sure, so go with it.

I tapped into your website, and lost myself there, and in thoughts of you for the past 20 minutes.  Thank you for that gift, though I'm supposed to be working...ha!  The farm and the animals and all the folks were great.  With the arrival of my new grandson, I'm grand dog sitting, so with hubby gone a few days, my bed's been filled with my two toy poodles, and a tiny jack russell.

Your home is lovely....I too enjoy decorating, but have taken a recess while getting the shop going.

I notice you slipped the breast cancer notice in the middle...didn't think we'd notice?  You'll be in my special prayers all week.  I very much feel your heart will lead you in the proper direction for healing (or not).  God bless and keep you.

Best wishes, and hugs to ya ((((((debilyn))))))

Thank you, ya'll. I will definitely read what you guys suggested if it is uno.

Of course I don't think it is.

I almost do all the thing mentioned. I was vegan for awhile but it made me very sick.
I loved it, but my body, for some reason could not do it.

So I eat a bit of turkey and chicken and tuna. But not much eggs no cheese or dairy fo any
kind.

Now I doubt I could handl carrot juice every hour...yikes lol

I just don't have the fortitude to be driving back and forth day after day for a year or
whatever to get to where the hospital is.

Plus I am alone. Not going to be happy if I have to go to the biopsy alone. I doubt they would
allow me to bring a dog or Estersue.

hehe Love to you all, debilyn sitting here with two bassets, one huge cat and a kitten purring
behind my head.
