Hi Everyone

Hi,

I haven't posted lately, and haven't even had time to read.

My daughter had her eigth grade prom this weekend,(she looked like an angel) and both her and my son are getting ready to graduate this weekend. One on Friday night and one on Monday night. I have been running around helping to get them ready, plus my son had his College orientation. I am also working extra hours to help pay for all the graduation fun. I feel like all I have done is write checks to their schools. My family will be in at the end of the week and I am looking forward to seeing them all.

A few more days and it will be all over and I can relax a little.

My husband is supposed to go into the detox tomorrow, but his parents are angry about it and he is dragging his feet, saying that with the graduations and everything else it is a bad time.

I told him there never will be a good time, that the kids do understand and want him in detox more than at the ceremonies. He will be out before the HighSchool one anyway.

I did tell him that if he does not go, he is not welcomed to come over here all weekend. I will not have him drunk and messing up the kids days. He grumbled, but I am not sure what he will do. It is up to him and I am staying back from it.

I am proud of myself I stood up to MIL. She came over the day of my daughters prom. She said she wanted to see her all dressed. The she proceeded to critisize that I wasted money on the gown, payed to much for it, and that it was a waste of money to have had her hair and nails done. I pulled her aside and told her to leave, she looked at me and said are you throwing me out. I said no, I am asking you to leave, if that doesn't work then I will throw you out. If you still do not leave I will call the police and tell them you are trespassing. Well she huffed off. It made me feel good to realize that the old witch has no power, unless I give it to her.

All of you have a wonderful week, I have more things to do.

                                           Love Jeannie
