Which ....has been often in the 1st few years back in recovery ...here are some things that have helped me which I would like to share;

Trying to stay in Just Today ... a day ( a minute) at a time
The "Just for today " Bookmark REALLY helps me "Just for today, I will be unafraid"...
Lying down for a few minutes "with my Higher Power " and breathing out Let Go , Breathe in Let God ... repeat for 5 - 10 minutes .... deep breathing Let go , let God
And a thing I found on a retreat:
GOD'S WILL
Do not look forward to what might happen tomorrow,
The same everlasting Father , who cares for you today
Will care for you tomorrow and everyday.
Either He will shield you from suffering, or He will give you unfailing strength to bear it .
Be at peace then , and put aside all anxious thoughts and fears.
And finally ... when I think "I'm afraid , Im scared" I work to immeadiatly SUPPLANT that thought with "I am UNafraid"
And I repeat "I know God always takes care of me and meets all my needs"
