the stupid things

Okay I realize I am probably being insensitive here but my hubby changed the brakes in our car last Friday night. On Tuesday thankfully the car died right next to a repair shop. He installed the brakes in backwards. Yep backwards and ruined the braking system. Ended up costing us a ton of money. When I told him what was wrong he was confused I just said it's a good thing you didn't change the back ones also. He was most likely wasted when he changed them.

You are very lucky that you are safe.

it seemed to me that my A (hubby) would try to do things while drunk to kinda prove somehow he was okay and not wasted.

Last saturday he wanted to go mountain biking and I reluctantly went as i could sense he was drunk.

Then he ended up walking his bike for most of the way.

But we found a lost dog and reunited it with his owner. i guess thats why we went to the park that day

There is no doubt about it, but your HP was looking out for you.  I can certainly relate to the A who tries to do things and acts like he is sober...what a mess...more expense now.  I shake my head because I have tried to allow my A to assume some responsibility, only to find that he just lets it pass right on by, and it does usually does cause a greater expense and/or problem for me (without going into any detail).  Thank goodness you are okay.  Love and blessings to you.  Annie

I can kind of realte...  My husband doesn't fix my truck but has done plenty to wereck it!!!!  OMG  Broke off the side view mirror, went and opened the hood and left it sitting with out closing it all the way then it has a hatch on the back and he didn't close that and it went flying up while I was driving it.  Well now I have a very smashed up truck that makes me angry because I have looked after it and no dints or anything that I have contributed to it...  While he drives a very new nice truck that I am not even allowed to touch.  GRRR  but hey I can thank HP for not letting anything happen to the kids and I after he has been messing with my poor truck, like when the hood went flying up and smashing the windshield. Now I know to do the walk around check!!!  Maybe HP thinks I need a newer truck  lol
