Why would u cry? Dori this is someone u loved and lived with , of course it would hurt. Your not made of stone, your human and it's hard to believe that anyone would be that cruel intentionally. This is a sick man,in recovery or not.  Ignore his comments and consider where they are comming from.  Keep on focusing on your own needs. This man is sick truly sick.   (hugs) Louise

WOW! Sounds like he is a very sick and twisted person! Just be thankful he isn't in your life any more, that should bring a smile to your face!

My ex-husband tried to destroy me, he couldn't handle the fact that I was happy without him, so he did everything in his power to hurt me, even bought a house just across the road! He is living about 3,000 miles away now and has remarried.(poor woman!)

Try not to let him see that he can still hurt you. Maybe his new wife has left him because she could see what a JERK he is, and he now wants to come back to trying to make your life miserable. I know it's hard, but try not to let it 'get to you'. Think of all the wonderful things in your life now without him.

My ex wasn't an A, he was an ACOA (adult child of alcoholics). I didn't know anything about alcoholism then. My present life with my A is much better than it was with my ex! My ex was a jerk ALL the time, my A, only when he's drunk :) , and it's been quite a while since his last drunk (thank-you HP and Alanon!!).

Try to concentrate on you. I know all the pain can't be swept under the carpet, but try to get on with your life. Maybe, if you have to, go to the police to see what you can do about keeping him out of your life? Best of luck to you, and lots of TLC
