Just wanted to share my good news today. I mentioned yesteday in the room that I have been working very hard on paying off some big bills and getting out of debt. Well it payed off for me today. As a result of some very hard work, imposing on my mother's hospitality, and lots of praying - I was preapproved for a mortgage today. It was at Pebbles advice that I continue to persue the mortgage lenders after a failed attempt with one. I want to thank Pebbles for her different perspective on the situation for me. I am so very proud of myself for taking the initiative and having the strength to pursue a dream for myself.

I agree with your being very proud of yourself :) This is great news! It helps to show all of us that we CAN make it. We just have to pursue things and keep on getting input from others that know about things that we may not know about. That is what I love about online people. They are so helpful when they know information we don't and they are so kind in sharing it with us.

Congrats!! Goes to show you, when you really work on things, miracles do happen!! My ex tried his hardest to destroy me, talked my son into quitting school(so he wouldn't have to pay child support) talked my daughter into moving in with him, and hundred's of other ways. The Hipocrite (sp?) went to church every Sun. to impress people in the community, blah, blah... One day, he came over to harrass me, I told him he might fool the people, but I knew him, and GOD knew him! He had the grace to look ashamed.
Of course, the people did know what he was like, some, he bought a house across the road from me, and when the seller mentioned it was kinda close to me, he said,"yeah, right in the sights of my 303!"
With the help of my HP, and very hard work, I managed to take over my mortgage and have it paid off in 5 years!! Can't keep a good man/woman down!! I'm sooo proud of you!! Keep up the good work! Love in the program, TLC
