I still haven't got an answer if there will be a vote tonite on whether we can give hugs, smiles, nods or agrees during a meeting. There are people that don't use this board and don't even know about the meeting as someone stated at open chat late last night. I am new here and I have voiced my opinion in here yet if there is a vote tonight, why is the meeting not posted in the room? The person last night thought the meeting is the first Wednesday of the month. I just thought I would bring this question out on a seperate post since my question wasn't answered earlier in the attention business meeting post. cdb
cdb, After talking last night and seeing this I had to go back to find out what this was all about. I usually go through all the post and read all of them. I guess it happens. If you don't get an answere to your question I suggest you bring it up at meeting tonight if you can make it.
jj, thanks for your reply. Sounds like a good idea. I hope I can make it. I am not feeling really well right now. I have good days and bad days. At least I made it to the morning meeting and focused on me. If I don't make it tonite, it wil be because I am taking care of my health. Have a nice day JJ. Your friend in recovery, cdb :)
Usually the business meeting is held the first Wednesday of each month. The announcement for it is in our meeting scripts. This month it was postponed to the following Wednesday (today), and I believe it was both posted on the message board and sent out in email. True, it would have been helpful to have additional announcements made in chat. Probably just an oversight. Thanks for bringing that up though so we can be more aware of it in future. If a change is being made, yes there usually is a vote on it, in keeping with Tradition Two.
Hope you feel better soon (((((((hugs)))))))
Luv, Kis
