Taking the steps to take me back

So this week has been very good for me! I turned a very important corner this week by attending my first f2f. I would like to thank all of you for advising me to go I REALLY did need it! I feel like a weight was lifted off my shoulders. Doing more things for me and explaining to my A the way that I am feeling and why I think has helpped. I am not sure if he actually listened to anything that I had to say but he has been nicer and accepting that I need time for myself to. I know that his change in attitude is probable because I put mine in check and that I am making an effort to be less miserable but it does seem like an effort on his part as well.

I shared with my group on how I deal with my denial and my crap "filling my bag of sand" and putting it under the pile of single sockes until hp has taken care of it for me. Letting go is so theraputic.

My mom and I went out together lastnight and it was great we got along and had a good time.

I feel so much better.
JJ

congratulations JJ

it is very hard to take that first step but once you take it, well, what a relief

I remember well the feeling of the weight off my shoulders.

And, yes, things can get better

jj, your post was so uplifting.  Sounds like you are on the right track and taking care of you.  I think I, too, will take all of my "crap" and put it in a bag and had it over to my HP.  What a relief.  I am sick and tired of worrying about all of it.  Thanks for sharing.    Annie
