MY BIRDIE ANGEL IS SO SICK AGAIN
I don't know how much longer I can go on with this. I repaired her hernia burst with the quik stop and she was doing so well and then this morning she is lethargic, doesn't want to eat or drink. ( I had to hand feed and give her water in her mouth ).
I am scared. worry.gifI had to reapply the quick stop because I noticed her hernia was engorged. I took her out and squeezed it--tons of poop & urine came pouring out. I have had to keep doing this and that is how the hernia burst again. It looks infected. I have no money to have her taken to the doctor and I am doing the best I can.
I am so scared.

My girlfriend, Tracey, called me and left me a message last night. I called her this morning. One of her hamsters dieddead.gif in her arms after being mauled by the female. Internal injuries could not be fixed.
I am so scared of the time I have left with my dear angel.
Please pray pray.giffor me, Angel, and my friend Tracey and her husband. They buried the poor little hamster this morning.
How will I deal with the death of this bird if that is what God's will is?confused.gif

Don't do this without googling it, 'coz I've never heard of doing it for birds, just mammals - but for mammals, sometimes a very diluted solution of hydrogen peroxide will help with an infection.

As to how you'll get through it if, etc.... one day, one minute, one second at a time, until you can see the sun shining again.

So sorry to hear your birdie is still sick. I have a bird too and I know I would feel very bad if something happened to her. We are all animal lovers at my house we'll keep your birdie at the top of our prayer list.

Can you take your bird to the vet and ask if you can work for their office to pay for your bill? Keeping your bird and you in my prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear she is still sick. Is there a bird rescue that might be able to help? Sometimes they can help with assistance, not just placement. I will keep you in my thoughts.
