Here I am! LOL! Been sick! I have a serious sinus infection and went home from work early Monday. Then Tuesday I stayed home and went to the doctor. I spent $20 in co-pay and 2 hours in the exam room to have the doctor confirm I have a sinus infection and then start in on how our bodies are getting too used to antibiotics and therefore are becoming immune to them and about "Monster Bacteria" and so on. Conclusion: He refused to give me medicine. BUTTHEAD!!!! He said I needed to fight this infection naturally. Now why in the world did he decide to start this practice w/me???? I get a serious sinus infection twice a year - Spring and Fall. It is not going away on it's own. So I plan on calling that jerk on Friday AM and saying - "Um, still sick! My face & ears are killing me! How about some medicine now?" He said I could call him on Friday if it wasn't better and he'd call in a prescription so that is what I plan on doing.
Meanwhile, I have had to suffer this week at work struggling to get through the mounds of paperwork w/this sinus infection. On top of that, my 14 yo son is being a major booger. He basically goes to school every day to socialize and doesn't do a lick of work. He has F's in just about every class, even gym!!!! He cocks attitudes w/his teachers when they question his missing work and disrupts classes constantly. I have no clue what to do about him and I am tired of the school calling me at work to tell me what his latest screw up is. It is getting old.
Good news is my AH seems to be doing well. He is working hard at his job, getting extra work so he can help me pay off my debts. I am amazed! He filed bankruptcy and in 3 years he will be debt free. His goal is to help me pay off my debt too. He said that I wouldn't have this much if it wasn't for him and he is so right about that. But I don't point it out. I learned long ago that he has to come to conclusions on his own. So I am sitting back and letting this ride go as far as it will take me. I know better than to hope it will last forever. Just hoping it lasts long enough to make a dent in some of my debts. Is that bad of me??? I feel like a jerk b/c of thinking that....but oh well. It is what it is.
no not a jerk. too bad you don't have my dr. they dish out the meds. I just go in and tell them what I want and bam I walk out with it. They are GREAT! I have a whole prescription of antibiotics sitting around here somewhere. I'm one of those bad ones who takes a few and quits LOL. Sorry ...
HOpe you feel better soon, I have been sick too and trying to fight it off on my own. It's a neverending cough and I have been using the nebulizer taking breathing treatments to help clear it up. It's actually my daughters but i called the dr. and asked them to call in a refill of the liquid for it. so they did. I"m getting a lot better hopefully it will be gone by the end of the weekend.
