After a verylong and hard week of work: I AM ON VACATION! I am so excited. Can you tell? Now we're not going to any place exotic, but does that matter? I'm just grateful that I have a job that allows me 3 weeks of vacation a year.
We have some long standing traditions for this fall vacation. First of all it's a homemade waffle day today. Of course we can't forget about watching football, cooking homemade potato chips and vegging out for a day. We do have some appointments, but our goal is to make this the best Pipers Kitty Week ever! We are such planners that it can be stressful not to plan things. But we want to get "lost" again on our rides. Hopefully we we stumble upon some farm stands that have apples, squashes and of course, PUMPKINS! We are going to see his Dad who lives in one of the most beautiful parts of NY. Next week we should be pretty darn close to peak. It should be glorious. We might even sneak in some fishing! We've also agreed that if we are tired, we sleep or nap. After all, it's about relaxing and enjoying life.
So my loving family, take some time to enjoy the changing of the seasons. Watch the squirrels run amok. Go pick some apples. Get ready for the Great Pumpkin. HAVE FUN! Life is too short not to. Have a wonderful week. Hopefully I'll get in here to say hello. If not, you're always in my heart and prayers. Have a great week.

Oh take care and have a GREAT time!! I love up north in the fall. It is not the same down here and I am a little jealous! I hope those leaves are changing for you, that is such a beautiful sight!
