Fun and Laughs

Today is my husband's birthday, and I took him to the Stoogeum (Museum of Stooges!) for a suprise. I am not a stooges fan, but I had no idea how much I would like it.
I went in with my prejudices - and I was seduced by the chuckles and giggling of the big crowd as they made their way around the exhibits. I figured they were remembering the episodes in which the memorabilia featured.
Anyway, there was a movie theatre showing 15 or 20 minute "shorts", and a dad or grandpa had brought his 10 year old boy. That kid giggled start to finish. It was contageous.
I am immunized from getting an attitude for weeks.
God bless the man who provided that museum dedicated to fun!    -Jill

Thanks for your share ((((((((Jill))))))))))),

Laughter is such a part of healing and recovery.  My sense of humor is weird and some of the typical things that others laugh at, I often don't find funny.  Ayup, it's from growing up with "bad jokes" that were excused and dismissed as humor.

But like you, I often find myself laughing at other's laughter.  Especially my children . . . when they are watching a movie for the 100th time and they still laugh as hard as they did when it first came out, I find myself catching their laughter.

Just for today, I will try to laugh biggrin.gif

yours in recovery,
Maria
