4 days and counting

Earlier this week I about had a breakdown being afraid the A was going to break in and take the dog (he claims he wants to bring one of the dogs on his cross country saga) and or break into the storage unit and get his tools.

In the meantime he got a second hand car with whatever money he got from the insurance company and the write off on the truck. It sounds like it is a clunker and it has already broken down once.

I have stopped communicating with him because I was second guessing what he was going to do and I jsut ended up in a pit of anxiety and stress.

This week was the end for me in the long long sage of his taking my belongings, making huge messes whereever he goes literally and fituratively and then expecting me to be around to clean it all up and support him. I've had enough. I in no way shape or form support hm moving across the country to somewhere he doesn't know. The truck was a huge huge hook for me. I held on hoping I could salvage something out of it. He destroyed that. One more reason not to speak to him. I know he just wants the dog as a means to hook me back in. He called me in May this year to say he was starving and was unable to feed the pets. That about did me in. I had a feeling he was not taking care of them but to allow them not to eat is beyond me.

So now I have removed pretty much every hook. I have his tools and they are just going to stay in storage for a while till I decide how to move on that. I am not going to give him the dogs.

The good news is that his court case is in 3 days. In theory in 3 days he could be going to jail. That would be when the warrant is issued for his arrest. The people where he is staying have supposedly said they have thrown him out today. I will wait and see if that really happens. They don't have a legal leg to stand on with that and he knows it. I believe also he has been doing drugs with one of them.

So in theory I have 3 days until I can breathe a sign of relief and say that's it. He will be either in jail or wanted after that and he can't monopolise me anymore. I'm pretty clear at this time that even if he writes me from jail/prison I am not going to answer.

I don't see how he can make a cross country trip in a clunker car. I also know I am not going to get involved with remonstrating with him about doing that. He's got himself into this pit he can get himself out. He's pulled me in with him for years and I need to climb out of my own pit of debt, despair and loneliness. I know I will do far far better without him around.

Maresie.

Mary how did  he get the insurance money when itwas your policy.

Mary if I were you, I would load up the tools and sell them. He stole your pickup.

NO way will he get those dogs.

Hopefully he will go to jail.
