I had a wonderful experience today. I am the proud sponsor of several people and one of them called me today. She is struggling in her marriage and called me for support and inspiration. The nice thing about the sponsor relationship is that it's a two-way street. Today it was her turn to provide me with inspiration. She mentioned that when she was stuck in the "what if he does this or what if he does that what will I do thinking?" she is not listening to HP. I was stunned. What a beautiful thought. If I am busy thinking about future events, I am not listening to HP in the present. HP is the guide in my life and provides me with choices. I am not listening to HP if I try to second guess those choices or "future trip" about what my alcoholic is gonna do in the future or how I should react to it.
Today at this moment in time I am listening to HP. HP is telling me what a wonderful gift sponsees are and I am agreeing.

Funny, you should mention this. i'm doing very well staying in a mostly positive place. I sometimes allow myself, or find myself projecting what if's still though. When I catch myself, especially if I'm talking to someone and say it out loud, I say to myself....that I have to stop and trust my HP. Didn't think about listening to my HP. But...I think when I stop, be quiet and experience the stillness, that is when I do hear my HP most.

(((Bobbity))), Thanks for your ESH. You are so right, I have HP so I shouldn't worry because he is taking care of me.
That reminder felt just as good as a slap of a trout (or is it a shot from a marshmallow gun, and only if they are kosher marshmallows?). :) You're too good to me.
