"When I can take that in, my dissatisfaction and negativity disappear, and I can proceed calmly and gratefully with my life. To me," he said, "that's what spirituality is all about."
Faith and hope aren't just for the future. Try using them on today.
Could it be that you're who you are and where you are now for a reason? Thank God for your life, exactly as it is, right now.

I read this for me and also thank God that our MIP family is where they need to be so that we can help each other like this has helped me
Just think if our whole MIP family said the following prayer for themselves and for this whole MIP family - what power it gives me to have faith. The power of prayer, the power of hope.....
Thank you that I am who and where I am now, today, Thank you that we are who and where we are now, today,
God, give me enough faith to believe in today. God, give us enough faith to believe in today.

Thank you so much for posting this. I just can't seem to keep up w/ the "Today's Gift" emails and I certainly needed this affirmation.
I didn't even start off w/ thinking everything happened for a reason, unless that reason was ME !. I slowly progressed to everything happens for a reason yet I didn't never thought about fulling embracing myself and others as being exactly who and where they are supposed to be as an elavation of that thought.
I'd like to change the prayer just a bit for me today. God, thank you for giving me the abundance of faith to believe in today.
Yikes I got goosebumps reading that back to myself. Must be a good prayer for me.
