update on situation

Hi All,
ex-A got out of hospital yesterday with Ulceritis Colitis, drink has nothing to do with that right! he went out last night and drank moderately. He is convinced that it is worse than cancer and was a real pain in the butt last night. I knew this would be the case so I detached very quickly. He kept giving it all the talk in the hospital that money wasn't important, it is now, as he has NO medical insurance whatsoever. I have pointed him in the direction of drug refund schemes etc and have my own business to sort out, which I have been doing on an ongoing basis.
Got the loan for my fees for the final year, supervisor said that I did not contact him soon enough, fair enough this is true, took full responsibility for same, found out that I can approach Hr they are supportive but I do not know whether my contract will last so I am going to approach my boss honestly tomorrow and ask him to do something for me. then am turning it over to HP
BTEI need loads of paperwork as someone new has taken in that section, am providing same and praying all will be ok, am very dependent on this aspect.
Am looking into what schemes there are for him to get his house in order, but need to stay out of it to.

You sound very good.... centered. I have spent a lot of energy in the past worrying about things I absolutely could not change. Some time we are where we are, and offering it up is all we can really do.

Hope everything works out for you....

Take care of you!

You are an inspiration to me. Thank you for sharing this. I have a lot to do and was feeling like I was awash with despair and fear. Your post helped me to focus on I just need to do one step at a time.

Maresie.
