Hi Alanon Family,

This is a keeper, I hope we all benefit from it!!  Let's be gentle with ourselves and work our program focusing on us and let our Higher Power do the rest!!

Isn't it grand we don't have to fix anyone, we can allow our Higher Power do what He does best-this way we can tend to us and cherish the peace and serenity we are offered. 

Remember, once we turn someone or our problem over, our Higher Power gently whispers in our ears, "I'll take it from here."

So go enjoy your day, and keep turning your loved ones and your problems over to the One Who can fix!! 

This is not a dress rehearsal, so let's enjoy our precious lives, a moment at a time.  Let's go for a walk, or enjoy the simple child-like pleasures of an ice cream cone, wading in the local lake, river or ocean and appreciate nature all around us beautifying our lives if we allow it to.  The soft kiss of a breeze on our cheeks or the symphony of birds is a gift we can overlook or we can choose to appreciate.

Let's dedicate today to "us" for all our hard work and needless worry.  Worry never changed a thing.  It only made us more sickwith more worry. Prayer and turning the problem over to our HP is the solution, so what's the question?

Now, go enjoy the day-be a child and make today count-do it for you!!

Thank you Nanuke
I just really needed to read that today.  Its been a day feeling defeated, beat up by this world like nothing I try is going to work.  That's just my stinking thinking.  HP is working things out for me and my loved ones even as I type this.  Most days I do believe my HP works "behind the scenes of my life" and only reveals the final act to me when he's ready.  So I must be patient and wait for those solutions or "final acts" to set the stage.
