Hi everybody firstly i would like to thank all for the prayers that have been said for my brother who is stable and making progress thank god!!!!!!!! secondly i would like to ask what is a senior member of alanon - is it a person who is of a certain age group ie over 65 like a pensioner - or is it a person who is higher ranking in the fellowship, i would be grateful is someone could let me know and i would especially like to here from the ppl who have the title of senior member. thanks much love to all

Hi Lilac,

Good news about your brother!  I'm keeping you both in my prayers.

I THINK the member status depends on how many times you post to the board.  I was a Newbie, then a Member, now a Veteran Member.  I'm not sure about the number you need to have the status changed.  There are higher levels as the number increases, but as far as I know, no prizes for moving up!   aww

So glad to hear your brother is doing better.  I hope he can make as complete a recovery as possible.

My understanding of the member status is the same as mhgal.  It relates to the number of posts.  I wrote once, that I wish I could change mine back to newbie, as I often don't feel very far along in my recovery.
