Hi everybody firstly i would like to thank all for the prayers that have been said for my brother who is stable and making progress thank god!!!!!!!! secondly i would like to ask what is a senior member of alanon - is it a person who is of a certain age group ie over 65 like a pensioner - or is it a person who is higher ranking in the fellowship, i would be grateful is someone could let me know and i would especially like to here from the ppl who have the title of senior member. thanks much love to all

I THINK the member status depends on how many times you post to the board. I was a Newbie, then a Member, now a Veteran Member. I'm not sure about the number you need to have the status changed. There are higher levels as the number increases, but as far as I know, no prizes for moving up!

My understanding of the member status is the same as mhgal. It relates to the number of posts. I wrote once, that I wish I could change mine back to newbie, as I often don't feel very far along in my recovery.
