naivete

i think I am incredibly naive to think that when I said No to the A he would not turn around and blame me for every single problem he has in the world. He is constintinally incapable of being honest about anything. He is also incapable of taking care of anything. He makes a huge mess every single day of the week.

He then proceeds to blame everyone in the world about it.

He is incapble of being responsible for one second.

And then he turns to the blame game oh its everyone else's fault but his.

Maresie.

Mare,
Sounds like he's spinning out of control and a crash and burn may be coming.
You are doing well in avoiding his manipulation. It's hard telling if he actually believes what he says. He just knows that is what has always worked in the past. It isn't working now so he's throwing a tantrum.

HP is just showing you what you need to see.

take care
Christy

It sounds so typical of A behavior. One of my problems in dealing with my A and his need to shift his focus is that I start believeing what he says is true. That I am responsible, it is my fault, that I should fix it. It sounds like you are no longer in that denile of believeing him and you are understandably angry at his attempted manipulations. Sounds like progress to me! Hurts like h*** and is uncomfortable and all that but it is progress. Keep going you are doing great!
