The Word WAIT (poem)

   The Word WAIT-

"Have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and to try to love the questions confusedthemselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language.  Don't search for answers, which could not be given to you now, because you would not be able to live them.  And the point is to live everything.  Live the questions now. Perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without even noticing it, live your way to the answer...."    aww

thanks for that - haven't been around the boards for a while - unmanageability in my life at present. but I neded to read that - the 'question' I've been wanting answered has been in my head/heart for 8 to 10 years now... patience doesn't come easy for me at all. just gone 11 BST so I'll not write much more - just thanks again for that - lovely!

((((((WallSal)))))

I love that poem. When I went to my first few F2F meetings I wanted answers and I wanted them right away. Thank goodness there were many oldtimers there and had the grace to allow me to wallow in my questions until the answers were revealed to me properly.

It would have been so easy for someone with less restraint to just hand me thier version of reality... but it might not have been what my HP was trying to say.

Thanks for sharing that.

Take care of you!
