OK, I am curious

Clearly I am not the most computer savvy  nerd.gif can anyone fill me in on where these neat avatars (that are not from the library images here) can be found?

Any site that has avatars should have a code you can copy and paste.

I made mine from a stock picture... I just sized and cropped it to the maximum allowed for avatars, forget what that is.  I think it's like 120 x 120 pixels.  You should be able to turn any picture into an avatar that way.

Watch out not to use copywrite protected material - you could get John in trouble.  (This is an issue that comes up frequently on another site I work at.)

Also, remember that if the host site (the place you got the picture) goes down, your picture will disappear.

I just picked from the list provided here. :) I figure it kind of shows the decade I grew up in. LOL Besides that, my sister and I used to drive a baby blue Ford Crown Victoria as teenagers. That thing was a big square metal boat. Everyone in school used to call it the "Smurfmobile". LOL.
