Took my ds to the dentist this morning. My A was going to haul water while we were gone. He did not do that. He decided to take a nap instead. It is raining now. The water should have been done before the road got wet again. Now it will make a mess of the road when he tries to drive on it.
In the past I would have bailed him out. I would have put off doing my stuff and done it for him. This time I told him I was not happy with what he did, and I asked him how he was going to fix it. He will have to do it when he gets home from work this evening. He knows he messed up. I will get my work done today. I will not be playing catch up because I took on his responsibility when he let us down. This time I will let him clean up his own mess. If it rains enough, he will have to carry water by hand to some of the livestock. Oh well, whos fault will that be.
I am proud of myself. I am not even having a bad attitude about it. I am just letting it go this time. I am not making it my problem. Another tiny bit of progress achieved in my own recovery.
