HOPE!!

Today I am in a good place and I should share so that someone else can find hope in my situation. My husband got released from rehab on Saturday morning. He has been to 5 meetings in 2 days. I am so proud of him. I am so hopeful. He is surrounding himself with people in the program. Today he is going to outpatient treatment and has plans for a meeting already.

We have been married 5 years, together for 9 years. I never thought he would stop drinking and using. Never! He tried before and failed. We have been though terrible situations. I have thought about leaving. Things have been bad.

So, I wanted to tell everyone, THERE IS HOPE! I am proof! Dont give up. Somehow our HP has a plan.

I know his journey has just begun. I know that this will not be an easy transition. I know there is a hard road to go. But, today, today there is HOPE!

I'm very happy for you and your husband. I will send a prayer that he can continue sober, and wish you both a serene recovery.

It is such a wonderful feeling to have hope again, isn't it?
