He's in jail again and the car is impounded...

Well now I'm kicking myself in the hiney for giving him that car as myself and my new coworker friend have to go out to myrtle beach today to pick it up from the impound. I got the call from him last night, he's in jail. This time for larceny, maybe more we'll see. The cop asked me if he was diabetic, apparently there was a fresh box of syringes in the car. His sponsor who he has been living with told me to run as fast as I can away... He called 3 times last night from the cops cell phone, he loves me he loves the kids he can't make it without us he can't be good unless he's with us blah blah blah. He decided despite the fact that he couldn't walk the talk that he would "do the right thing" and confess rather than shutting up and getting a lawyer. UGH!!! Ok that makes 3 times he has been to jail in the past 4 months. This time it's South Carolina. He has court next week in Wilmington which I guess he's not gonna make now and is already on probation for thething he just got out for three weeks agoso I'm thinking he might get some time this time????

Thanks for being a dad and husband and doing the right thing and supporting your kids... thanks for making that choice this morning to go out and continue on your runner for another day and steal stuff and get that box of needles instead of going to your $20 an hour job. Thanks for always putting your family first!

BUT REALLY NOW...Honestly, thanks for smacking me upside the head one more time and making me wonder what the hell I was thinking when the thought of being with you again entered my mind!!

By the way tomorrow is our 7 year wedding anniversary, I forgot to thank you for that!

He might get time since it's his fourth offense. Don't they make them habitual offenders at that point? I don't know. What a dummy. Geesh. I personally wouldn't be bailing him out on that one. He needs to learn the hard way. Good luck. Keep coming here. You know the right thing to do for you and those kids.

i wish it was the same man because then i might be able to take some sick satisfaction in the thought that he is suffering in jail. and also i wouldn't be able to pick up the phone, call him and then proceed to beat my head against that same ole brick wall. lucky! lol! just kidding i know this is an awful situation with so many mixed emotions (that's how i am feeling) but again you are doing great. i had a phone call from an email buddy yesterday! he was drunk! thought you'd apperciate that one! i know i did! keep smiling girl!

The pain comes in waves from your post. He is majorly sick girl. Hopefully if no one enables him he will have to take care of himself.

I forgot what larceny is?

We can pray he goes to jail. See how easy they are on them??? geez.

one day at a time, nap take care of you. This is horribly hard stuff. love, debilyn

((Carolina girl))

Hate that you are going thru this difficult time. Don't beat yourself up over the car. What's done is done. For me, those experiences go under the column of
Lessons Learned Please HP Help Not To Have to Learn That One Again. (lol)

which sometimes I do.

Please try to do the "healthy" self-care things for you today - Remember You are important and You deserve self-care. Read some literature, go to a meeting, call your sponsor, take a walk in the park with your Higher Power.

Peace,
Rita

One of the ironies for me is that the A has someone staying in the back yard literally sleeping in his car. He is supposedly helping him with the move (although they dont' do that much between them). He sounds just like this can't make it without his wife (who has run off with someone else). She came for a few days and then took off because not much happened. I think she lives in major denial too. Now the guy is back to being suicidal. I do feel for him I also see where drug addiction took him. The A tends to team up with people like that, desperate drug addicts.

I can understand your rage and anger. I bang my head against the wall all the time. The only thing that has changed is that I know this just keeps on the same.

take it easy on yourself, they are his actions and not yours, don't be too hard on yourself about the car either, please look after yourself
