(((BEV))),

What are you...the infinite credit card!! Just joking....but really, you can't pay his bills for him, can you. You are not doing either him or you any favors by doing this. He needs to feel the consequences of his actions, and that means paying for anything he purchases.

He is is the grips of a powerful addiction, and his actions may be governed by this. But, you can chose a different way for your life. You do not have with alcohol in you life if you chose not to. It's up to you really, you can chose your own way forward.

I know ofcourse this is not easy. Change is often diffcult....but sometimes necessary too.

I hope you keep posting and letting us know how you are getting on. We are all here for each other.

Yours in recovery
AM

I am in the procress of making alot of changes.   It is hard but it feels good at the same time.

Rember only try to make one change at a time and sometime there seems to be a lot of steps to it.  The big one for me is how to work out spending time with my eldery parents since I do not drive.   I live 30 mile Rt.   I am still adjusting to the death of my two nephew last year.  From drug and alochol.

Remeber one day at a time.

Lexie,

Thank you.  It is hard to take of oneself.  But I am learning if you do not take of yourself , no one else well.  You really take of anyone else.
