After the day I had yesterday I felt lost and hopless!!!! However this morning I read the Jan 10 page in the book I was given and it made me smile and realize I just gotta live TODAY!!!! I did!! There was NO arguing with our child about getting ready for school....it is normally a battle cause our child whines and does NOT want to get up!! I got to work, was tired thanks to staying up WAY too late, BUT it was a good day!!!! I laughed and had some plain FUN with my co-workers....not that we dont normally laugh....but I felt really good!! Not a phoney sure I'll laugh laugh!! REAL belly shacking laughs!!!! My husbadn is dealing with the withdralws. A guy he met from one of his meetings called him just to tell him he LOVED him and my husband was SO full of joy!!!! I have not seen him THIS happy in a LONG time!!!! I feel like this IS going to work!!!! I'm going to try to go to a Friday day meeting. I am learning that I have to concentrate on keeping a smile on my face and make ME feel good!!!! I did that today!!!! :) There were a few situations at work that I COULD have handled put I passed them on cause I needed to have a GOOD day!!!! I just wanted to share that I have had a GREAT day today!!!! I am NOT worring about tomorrow or fretting over yesterday!!!! I am at peace with my feelings from last night....My MILS issues are NOT mine!!!! WHY do I have to worry about them if she's NOT!!!! I have let my husband do his own thing and I chime in with a GOOD JOB BABY when he tells me things HE is realizing for HIM!!!! We are 2 people in the smae house doing our OWN things but for some reason I feel closer NOT further from him!!!! It is strange cause it is almost as if we are doing it together but we are doing it individually!!!! We both went to meetings last night and it was as if we were at the same place....but we wernt!!!! I have hope!!!! :) But today I am good!! He is good!! We are good!!!! I feel so much lighter and not like I have the weight of the world on my sholders!!!! YIPPEE!!!! :) I am off to get our child ready for bed and then me!!!! :) Just wanted to share a positive!!!! :)
Excellent!!!!!!!! Isn't it so nice to have an A+ day? Be careful not to have a lot of expectations (cuz they can lead to disappointment) and keep on doing it... FOR YOU!

Congratulations! I am so happy for you...it picks me up and reminds me of how i feel when i have those kinds of days/moments.
The simple pleasures are the best.....and sometimes feel like anything but simple they feel so good.
Good for you for a hassle free am with little one - great to delegate at work - so nice to feel like 2 people in the same house doing their own thing instead of so awefully enmeshed. I think this is what it is all about!
